On July 13, 2007, a tragic accident led to the premature passing of a wonderful little girl, Ellie Zaidel. Although she was with us in this world for less than 2 years, Ellie was a source of joy and inspiration for all whose who knew her.

Elliana Alyssa Zaidel (July 18, 2005 to July 13, 2007) was the oldest daughter of Paul and Kathy Zaidel. Although she never met them in person, Ellie now watches over her younger siblings Tyler and Analeigh from heaven above.

Ellie’s Fund, Inc. was created as a living tribute to this beloved little girl.

Elliana’s Garden opened on September 12, 2010 as the first project of Ellie’s Fund. Elliana’s Garden is located within Pamperin Park in Brown County, on the far side of the bridge near the main park pavilion. It is a children’s memorial garden that is designed with native flowers and other vegetation that create the ideal home for butterflies. Elliana’s Garden is a place of peace, reflection, and remembrance.

Families are welcome to purchase and place an engraved brick in the garden to honor their own lost angels. Please contact us to learn more about purchasing a brick. We also welcome your donations to the Ellie’s Fund Endowment which supports the perpetual maintenance of the garden.
